woof wednesday!

when I was a little girl, my grandpa - who we called PomPom :) - gave my sister and a collection of miniature plastic docs that were different breeds. they came with cards with their breed information, a name and even their favorite activities. my sister and I both had our favorite dogs.. I cant remember what my sister's was, but mine was definitely the bernese mountain dog.. so in honor of that little toy.. meet Spike!

From the shelter:
" He is a gorgeous big boy (about 70 lbs) who was caught in one of our humane traps along with a small female dog. The female's owner came looking for her and reclaimed her, but he said he didn't know where Spike came from. No one has come looking for him.

Spike is extremely shy and introverted and is currently in foster care at our shelter manager's house. He reports that Spike is making slow but sure progress. He is a gorgeous dog with such expressive eyes and a beautiful coat. He is a lovely dog who so deserves a loving home of his own. Is that yours? "

what's in your closet?

I have always been intrigued/fascinated with big luxurious closets. When I was a little girl, my parents bought my sister and I the Barbie Dream House, and I wish I could find the picture of the one we had because it was a-maz-ing. Pink glitter'd walls, a flashing fireplace, a bath tub that could make REAL bubbles! Oh, it was amazing. Of course, Barbie had a great closet too.

I came across this fun link: celebrities giving tours of their closets.. Paris Hilton, Fergie, Lady Gaga.. it is so fun and such a guilty pleasure.

Enjoy :)
